This was probably a long time in it's coming, but as I am in life, I am somewhat of an internet pack rat. This means that I have a tendency to hang on to things, regardless of their value and the amount of hassle saved if I were to just let them go. It has come to the point where I can't remember the last time I was very active with this account. I posted one chapter some time back, but it wasn't enough to spur any amount of activity, not that it matters since I rarely even remember to log in here anymore.

I know it's a pain in the ass to try to read anything from a computer monitor. It's very hard on the eyes, at least. I am very grateful to those of you who did.

Being recognized as a writer on this site is not something that is impossible, but it's very difficult, and those who are truly successful might find that they are thrown into some sort of popularity contest, where they are faving and commenting on something that they don't care about, if they even read it in it's entirety. My hope was to get honest feedback and opinions, though the comments of "nice" and such were good for the ego.

Anyway, this is turning out to be longer than intended, so I will get to the point. If any of you would like to add my main account feel free to do so. I'll at least be watching a few of you from there, but I won't be posting my literature works here anymore. What is here will be kept in storage just in case I need it. Always good to have backups, isn't it?

Hello all. I thought I would update to let you know that I am still alive, in case any of you cared. I just haven't been to this account much lately since I haven't been writing much and do to time constraints and life issues. Hopefully, this will change in the near future. One can hope.

We've welcome a new member to our family, the cutest little Welsh Corgi that I have ever met. He's also the only Corgi that I have ever met, but I'm sure that I would stand by my opinion even after meeting other Corgis. Seriously, he's an absolute doll, and he's already made his place in the home. He's a cute little jerk, just like my ferrets. It's like I can't go into a petstore and come out with a normal, sweet little animal. No, I have to go in and get the most insane pet in the place. Here he is-



He was actually a gift for my sister and mom. I feel like I've mentioned this before. Maybe not in this journal, though. I haven't read the one before this. Anyway, I am house hunting, and he won't be joining me at the new place, rather regretfully. But two Cockabeas by the names of Jet and Angela will. I will also be taking in a lovely Norwegian Forest Cat.



Yesterday, I went to see Apocalyptica. If anyone is interested in seeing the shots from the show, just leave a comment and I will be sure to add thumbs to the journal or direct you to them, depending on how lazy I feel.

And it's already starting off pretty gay. Over the weekend, I bought the cutest little Welsh Corgi for my sister and brother. He's not my puppy, but he seems to think that he is because he follows me everywhere and he comes to find me every morning. So he did this morning, but before he could get too far, my sister came and snagged him. That was the last thing I remember before waking up to realize that it was 7:57 and I needed to be leaving soon for work! My cell phone alarm didn't go off at all, even though I set it last night! But luckily, I got myself dressed and out the door in record time.

So I am still house hunting and trying (while mostly failing) to save up some cash. I could type forever and a day about the chick that recently screwed us over, but I won't. I don't want her for a landlord anyway.

In other news, I have hit a sort of block in writing. I got maybe a half of a page one day last week, but that's been it for a while. I hope it doesn't last.

So I won a new bass on eBay. I might have mentioned it in the last journal. In fact, I'm sure that I did. I also mentioned the grand run around that I got from Paypal and eBay before I finally paid for the thing. Well, they told me that I had to wait until April 8th for the transaction to clear. The thing didn't clear until the night of the 8th.

So now here it is, April 16th. I never got any shipping confirmation from the guy on the guitar, but I figured it would be alright. Finally, I decided to mail him yesterday all like, "Where is the shipping information?!" I got the reply this morning. He never knew that the payment was processed and so the guitar was never shipped!

It's been eight whole days since the thing cleared and he never knew it!! So now I have to wait anywhere from 1 to 6 business days on top of the eight days I have waited. I feel like Ilmarinen must have felt when he was trying to make a wife out of Louhi's daughter.
